The Department of Biological and Physical Sciences, in collaboration with Dubai Health and AUD Health Center, hosted a special episode of the Biology Lecture Series. Prior to the talk, lung tests were performed with the support of experts from Dubai Health and the peer health educators team. In the talk, Dr. Bassem Mahboub, head of the Pulmonary Unit at Rashid Hospital, discussed the recent evidence for all types of smoking and shared real-life examples. Faculty, staff, and students had a unique and interactive session with the distinguished guest while decoding the unseen dangers of smoking.
