The Mission of AUD’s Registrar’s Office is to support the educational goals of the institution, with an emphasis on conducting registration and keeping academic records. Our purpose is to provide students with services required in the planning and implementation of academic activities.

The Registrar’s Office strives to fulfill its mission by performing a host of important administrative functions for students. We create and maintain student records with utmost diligence, accurately reflecting student achievement. We process all student requests for official transcriptsenrollment verificationsdegree audits, diploma ordersand posting of transfer credits, just to name a few (all of which can be found on the Registrar Portal).

Important Info

  • Check the Course Schedule online as soon as it is published.
  • Consult the recommended course sequence online or in the AUD Catalogs and/or with your advisor.
  • Discuss your course options with your advisor ahead of time to ensure that your early course registration is smooth.
  • Check your Degree Audit online.
  • Make sure you complete all Foundation courses and the required Arts and Sciences courses before you move to any concentration course.
  • Check the English as a Pre-Requisite requirement.
  • Make sure to complete your ENGL, MATH and COMP within the first 45 credits.
  • Check online or the AUD Catalogs to plan your courses based on their scheduled offerings; this will guarantee a timely graduation.
  • Meet with the Registrar at the beginning of your senior year to update your Degree Audit.
  • Regular course load for full time students and AUD-sponsored students is 15 credits (Undergraduate) and 6 credits (Graduate) in Fall and Spring.
  • Overloads may be granted to undergraduate students, only after advisor’s approval, in good academic standing (i.e. carrying a minimum 2.0 CGPA); and occasionally, depending on the courses comprising the student’s proposed schedule, a higher CGPA may be required.
  • Registration, diploma, transcript and letter requests will not be processed if the student is on Hold. Check the types of holds in the table below.

For Undergraduate Students
To register for an internship, make sure you contact the Career Services Office and your department Internship Coordinator at least 3 weeks before the start of the semester.

For Graduate Students
Applications for the Graduate Internship must be discussed with and submitted directly to the Graduate Program Director for approval. If an internship application is approved, the Graduate Program Director will assign a faculty member to supervise the internship.

Registration Process

Choosing Your Courses

  • Refer to your course sequence online or in the AUD Catalog as well as your online degree audit to choose your courses
  • Refer to the Arts and science core requirements
  • Identify your Advisor’s name from the Student Portal
  • Consult with your Advisor about the courses selected


Registering Your Courses

  • Check registration schedule
  • Make sure to clear your holds, if any, before your registration period.
  • Registration will be ONLY online, during the assigned registration periods.
  • Print out a copy of your class schedule from here: My Schedule
  • Pay your fees at the Finance Office before the payment deadline


Confirming Your Courses

Please note that the students’ official schedule is as recorded by the Registrar at the end of Drop/Add.

Whether you registered with the Admissions Office, online or at the Registrar’s Office, always make sure to do the following after registration and especially after the Drop/Add period:

  • Print a copy of your schedule from here: My Schedule
  • Double check each listed course, its timing and its instructor in your schedule. Should you find any discrepancies, please contact the Registrar’s Office immediately.
