The Department of Biological and Physical Sciences was honored to host a distinguished guest lecture in the genetics course featuring Dr. Rashed Alghafri, Director of the Dubai Police International Center for Forensic Sciences (DPICFS). Dr. Rashed shared invaluable life insights to the students, emphasizing the significance of resilience, perseverance, competitiveness, and innovation within the field of forensics, while highlighting the potential for making a positive societal impact. Furthermore, Dr. Rashed emphasized the importance of research and introduced collaborative projects that students can engage in with his team.
