AUD presents talk on Healthspan and Longevity at the Museum of the Future

Professor Meis Moukayed, Professor of Health and Life Sciences, presented a talk on longevity, healthspan, and well-being at the Museum of the Future (MOTF) in Dubai.

The talk, titled “Insights into Healthy Longevity for a Better Future,” was part of The Future Experts: Professors’ Edition at MOTF and was attended by scientists, students, healthcare professionals, and members of the public visiting during Dubai Future Forum week 2025.

During the session, Professor Moukayed discussed current scientific perspectives on longevity and outlined developments within the longevity ecosystem at regional and global levels. She explored molecular mechanisms linked to healthy longevity and emerging approaches that may support earlier detection and prevention of cellular ageing.

The presentation also included practical considerations for promoting health and well-being, as well as reflections on future skills that may be relevant to the growing longevity and biotechnology sectors.
The talk forms part of AUD’s broader engagement in community outreach and health education and reflects the research interests of its faculty.
