Curating during the Pandemic: How to successfully bring Contemporary Art projects to the public in the age of Coronavirus
In 2020 I successfully curated 3 art shows in Lebanon, beginning the weekend right before the first lockdown. My efforts and goals as curator were the same: to bring the art shows to the public; but the delivery methods had to readjust in order to ensure public safety. I learned through my shows how to make this possible. Technology and the Age of the Internet played a big role in realizing these projects successfully. In this lecture, I will share my experience as a Curator in 2020. I will also talk about how my background in the different disciplines I was educated in contributed to the success of my art shows (Architecture, Photography, History and Theory of Art, etc.).
Time: 1:00pm

Trans-spatial narratives unfold into tripartite taxonomy – O for “Organicum”, M for “Machina”, S for “Spectrum” – mapping on the mechanistic signifiers of ghostly structures, oblivious voids, palimpsestuous sites, geometries and traces of remote memories; fantastic situations and devious conditions. METAPORTALS is a generative medium, bridging the educational milieu to immersive worlds…
