Private health insurance covering care in the UAE is mandatory for all AUD sponsored students. In order to meet this requirement by enrolling in the AUD-sponsored health insurance plan, students are charged a non-refundable fee as per the below schedule.

Health insurance fees are payable at the time of visa application and are renewed automatically every year.

For new students, the health insurance will be activated once the visa process is finalized. In the meantime, students are advised to have an alternative insurance to cover them for any emergency.

AUD non-sponsored students are required to have and maintain private health insurance covering all UAE care on a continual basis while enrolled and are responsible for all charges related to their medical care.

VISITING STUDENTS HEALTH INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Visiting students requiring AUD residence visa have to enroll in the AUD-sponsored health insurance plan as part of the visa process. Students are charged a non-refundable fee as per below.
