Susan Haidar joined the Registrar’s Office at the American University in Dubai (AUD) in 2010, beginning her career as a Registrar Coordinator. Through years of dedication, institutional knowledge, and consistently high-impact contributions, she progressed into her current role as Associate Registrar. Today, she plays a central role in leading academic administration, overseeing registration operations, academic records, policy implementation, and student lifecycle processes, while serving as a key point of coordination between students, faculty, academic leadership, and administrative offices across the University.

In her role as Associate Registrar, Susan contributes to strategic planning, process improvement, and policy execution, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all registrar-related functions. Her work reflects a strong commitment to student-centered service, operational excellence, and cross-departmental collaboration that supports the University’s academic mission.

Alongside her professional advancement, Susan completed a Master of Education (M.Ed.) at AUD in 2025, an achievement she takes great pride in as both a higher education professional and an AUD alumna. This experience has further strengthened her ability to approach institutional processes with a balanced administrative and student-focused perspective.

Prior to joining AUD, Susan held roles in higher education administration and healthcare management, including Assistant Registrar and External Programs Coordinator at C&E American University, as well as Patient Relations Manager at Dr. Suleiman Al Habib Medical Center, where she developed strong expertise in stakeholder engagement, service excellence, and operational leadership.
