B.B.A. in Marketing, American University in Dubai, UAE

Ms. Akbar joined AUD in 2012, when she was still a Marketing Student at the university, as a Career Services Intern and later got promoted to Career Services Coordinator in May 2015. Her responsibilities include assisting students with CV reviews, contacting companies and building relationships with them, organizing employer presentations, updating the employer database, advertising positions amongst our AUD students and alumni, and helping in organizing the AUD Annual Career Fair.
 
Prior to joining AUD, Ms. Akbar held the position of Marketing Intern at Citibank, where she visited different branches and financial centers, held mystery shopping trips, acquired new customers, edited booklets, leaflets, and brochures, as well as organized portfolios for auditors.
 
In her spare time, she enjoys taking long drives, watching movies, spending time with family and travelling.
