Dr. Assaad Farah is the Interim Provost and Chief Academic Officer at the American University in Dubai (AUD), where he has been a driving force since joining the institution in 2010. He also continues to serve as Dean of the School of Business, having previously held the roles of Associate Dean and Director of Accreditation.

In addition to his academic leadership, Dr. Farah is a distinguished executive educator and strategic management consultant, with extensive experience advising organizations in the public sector across the United Arab Emirates. He currently serves as a member of the AACSB Initial Accreditation Committee and is the former Chair of the AACSB International Middle East & North Africa Advisory Council.

Before his tenure in Dubai, Dr. Farah built professional expertise in the aeronautical and mobile industries in Canada. His research interests span knowledge management, strategic human resource management, airline management, and artificial intelligence.
