Dr. Perla Kfoury joined AUD in September 2024 as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics. Prior to that, she was a research and teaching assistant at INSA Toulouse, an engineering university in France, and previously held the same position at Université Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier. She completed her PhD in Mathematics through a collaboration between Toulouse, France and Vancouver, Canada.

Her research focuses on nonlinear dispersive equations, particularly the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. During her doctoral studies, she explored stationary and periodic wave solutions using both analytical and numerical methods.
