Ms. Noor Rizvi joined the American University in Dubai in 2010 as an Adjunct Instructor and was appointed Instructor of Mathematics in 2022. She currently teaches Developmental Mathematics for all undergraduate programs and serves as the Developmental Math Support Leader. In this role, she actively mentors students enrolled in developmental math courses, guiding them through academic challenges and helping them build confidence in their mathematical abilities. Her work focuses on promoting foundational mathematical understanding and student success through individualized support and engaging instruction.

Ms. Rizvi holds a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago, where she studied as a Fulbright Scholar, and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Mathematics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan.

She brings over 14 years of teaching experience across the UAE and Pakistan. In addition to her role at AUD, she has served as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Wollongong in Dubai, where she taught Foundation Math, Engineering Mathematics, and Statistics for over a decade. Earlier in her career, she taught A-level Mathematics at The Lyceum School and worked as a certified SAT and GRE instructor at The Princeton Review in Pakistan.

Ms. Rizvi is passionate about making mathematics accessible and enjoyable for all learners. Outside the classroom, she enjoys cross-stitching and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
