Before joining AUD in 2025, she taught as an adjunct professor at Kean University in the United States. In addition to her academic role, she is the co-founder of Dunes Workshop, an interdisciplinary art and research collective, and Y+Y Studio, an architecture design practice.
Prior to her relocation to Dubai, she worked internationally in Hong Kong, Beijing, and New York with renowned architecture firms including OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture), Standard/ZAO Architecture, and Kengo Kuma and Associates. Her research and creative practice investigate the dynamic intersections of architecture, culture, and the arts.
Her essays and interviews have been published in Time + Architecture, Urban China, The Architect, and Tangent Essay, among others. Her work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale, UCCA Edge, Ars Electronica, and the Shenzhen–Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale, among other international venues.
