Mr. Nicolas Turchi is an accomplished architect, serving as an Assistant Professor in Architecture at the American University in Dubai. He is an ARB-licensed and RIBA-chartered architect, and also holds the position of associate at DesignMorphine, alongside being the Founding Director of nt-ar, an award winning chartered design practice registered in the UK.
Mr. Turchi’s holds a Master's degree in Architecture II from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, as well as a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture I from the University of Bologna. With a diverse international background, he has garnered experience from esteemed practices such as Zaha Hadid Architects, Peter Eisenman Architects, MCA Mario Cucinella Architects, and Hernan Diaz Alonso Architects.
His research primarily focuses on emergent technologies and their implications on architectural theory, particularly exploring the integration of the fourth dimension into architectural discourse. He has shared his work and expertise through exhibitions and lectures worldwide, including at prestigious venues such as Harvard University, the Architecture Venice Biennale, Texas A&M University, the Architectural Association, Manchester Metropolitan University, Dubai Theatre of Digital Arts and Salone del Mobile in Milan. His contributions underline his commitment to advancing architectural design and theory within the global architectural community.
