The American University in Dubai was ranked for the second time in two years among the top 150 universities worldwide chosen for the employability of its graduates. Chosen by the Times Higher Education Employability Ranking, AUD was the highest ranking university in the region, followed by two Saudi universities.
 
The announcement came in light of two major events that were planned by the AUD Career Services Department, the Employment for Education; Bridging the Gap between Industry and Academia conference and the 2017 AUD Alumni SME Career Fair.

The Alumi SME Career Fair serves as platform for AUD Alumni entrepreneurs and business owners to share their experiences on starting their own businesses and ventures, and is open to all AUD students, faculty and administration to attend and engage with the alumni entrepreneurs who are happy to discuss their chosen paths, promote their businesses and advise aspiring student business owners on the do’s and don’ts of opening a business.
