AUD was the only university from the UAE participating in the first IIE Summit on Generation Study Abroad in Washington – US, from October 1-2, 2015. The summit brought together commitment partners to highlight progress and inspire new action that will help double study abroad.
 
AUD’s External Relations Office was exhibiting during the summit, and had the opportunity to meet with key players in the field of study abroad and international education.
 
To date, more than 600 partners from the U.S. and abroad have joined Generation Study Abroad with a bold vision to double the number of U.S. students studying abroad by the end of the decade. AUD took the pledge recently and is making every effort to market AUD’s Semester in Dubai Program as well as its Certificate in Middle Eastern Studies to American students.
