The official inauguration of the AUD Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (AEIC) took place on 18 October 2021 in the presence of CEO of Dubai SME, His Excellency Abdul Baset Al Janahi; AUD President, Dr. David A. Schmidt, and AUD Executive Vice President, Mr. Elias Bou Saab.

During the inauguration, seven successful projects were presented. They included Hey Valet, The Shadow Job, Portreat Art Gallery, The SolarisBox, Acadlinks, Food Optimization and Smart Doc Application.
