The American University of Dubai in collaboration with Harvard University organized the Harvard Model Congress in Dubai 2019 with 30 students from Harvard University and 665 students from 16 schools from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, UAE and Jordan.

The students were divided into 12 groups that discussed topics of interest to the world, such as investing in renewable energy, the global water crisis, information leakage through social media, human trafficking, misconduct in peacekeeping, burglaries in encrypted currency, education of women in Africa, corruption in the World Bank, among others. The conference lasted three days, in which participants reached resolutions to resolve these pressing global issues.

The American University in Dubai will receive a delegation of Harvard University students in March, with 12 students, to learn about the UAE's progress in civilization and science.
