The Mathematics Division and the Mathematics Education Research Group in the UAE (MERG-UAE) are delighted to announce

The First International Mathematics Education Conference in the UAE

The conference will take place at the American University in Dubai on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

The conference theme for this year is: Nurturing Mathematical Futures: Innovation, Inclusivity, and Impact on Education in the UAE.

We invite educators, researchers, policymakers, and innovators to submit proposals for presentations, workshops, and poster sessions.

This one-day conference will bring together diverse voices to explore how mathematics teaching and learning can be reimagined to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

Proposal Categories

• Research Presentations (20 minutes): Share findings from recent studies in mathematics education.
• Practical Workshops (45–60 minutes): Interactive sessions demonstrating teaching practices, tools, or strategies.
• Poster Presentations: Visual displays of research, classroom innovations, or emerging ideas.
