With continued trends in urbanization and more projects being labeled ‘Mega projects’, engineers are becoming responsible for designing and overseeing increasingly intricate, multinational projects and controlling the complex challenges accompanying them.  Engineer Saber Diab will share his experiences managing some of these mega projects and provide a look at plans from some of these projects.  The talk will also address issues commonly associated with megaprojects, including: schedules, sub-contracting, linking costs to schedule and weighing activities for tracking and evaluating progress.
