The Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication (MBRSC) cordially invites you to attend the Executive Session: Journalism during COVID and Beyond. The session features the internationally renowned CNN News Broadcaster, Erin Burnett who has been at the forefront of reporting from around the world, and recently during the novel coronavirus pandemic. Burnett anchors CNN’s OutFront, a dynamic primetime news program that provides in-depth analysis, compelling newsmaker interviews, and lively debates on the day's top issues. She produced and presented numerous documentaries on India, Russia, Dubai and Africa. Prior to joining CNN, Burnett anchored two flagship programs on CNBC.

 

The session will revolve around the reporting practices during the pandemic and the access to information during the electronic age. It will be moderated by Dr. Carol Moufarrej, Associate Dean of the Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication (2010-2019), and currently serving as a member on the Advisory Board of the School. Dr. Moufarrej’s research interests converge around health communication having written research papers in this field.
