is pleased to welcome students from TKS Dubai for a special session exploring
Future & Virtual Environments: The case of gravity Defiant Architecture
Led by Dr. Georges Kachaamy, Director of CRID and Professor of Architecture at AUD, the session will introduce students to the research, experimentation, and emerging technologies challenging conventional understandings of architecture and expanding the possibilities of how we may design and inhabit future environments.
The visit will also offer TKS students an introduction to CRID and its ongoing work at the intersection of architecture, research, immersive technologies, artificial intelligence, virtual environments, and design innovation. Students will have the opportunity to engage directly with these ideas, ask questions, and discover how emerging technologies can become instruments for research, creativity, and the development of new possibilities. Bringing together the exploratory spirit of TKS Dubai and the research-driven environment of CRID, the session aims to inspire the next generation to question existing boundaries and imagine what might come next.
