This talk will enlighten Computer Science/Engineering students about how to enter the cyber security world and build a future career in it. Cyber security is a diverse and complex field ranging from the offensive operations (a.k.a., red-teaming) to the defensive operations (a.k.a., blue-teaming). Attendees will learn what skills they need to acquire as well as what industry certificates they can apply for. Each branch in cybersecurity has its own skills, certificates, as well as standards and methodologies.
