The Office of Institutional Effectiveness held an interactive workshop on the Outcomes-Based Evaluation Framework on Thursday, November 20th, 2025, with the aim of familiarizing offices with the OBF pillars and KPIs. Participants were introduced to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s KPIs and pillars, the Higher Education Data Base (HEDB) datasets, and the Ministry’s inspection framework.
Attendees from various offices across the university including the Registrar, Human Resources, Finance, Central Services, Student Affairs, Outreach and Career Development, Admissions and Student Recruitment and the Health Center shared very positive feedback. They noted that they now have a clearer understanding of how to prepare and submit accurate data and how this information supports accreditation and institutional reporting.

The workshop also provided an overview of the ongoing development of AUD’s data governance strategy, highlighting the need to reduce redundancies in data requests, and strengthen both internal and external reporting. Workshops like this play a key role in strengthening AUD’s culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making by ensuring that all offices are aligned, informed, and equipped to contribute effectively.
