The American University in Dubai in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Education presents “Innovators in Media Competition” 2024/2025 (9th Edition).

Theme: Elevated Ideas in the Realm of Artificial Intelligence

The competition is open for grade 12 students-citizens and residents, in public and private schools. The entries must be submitted in Arabic or English.

Participants must fulfill the following requirements:

Propose an idea that can be achieved through AI technologies and could be implemented in the future, based on the principle: "Necessity is the mother of invention".

The proposed idea must be in the form of a groundbreaking invention and incorporate imaginative science fiction.

Submission Guidelines:

• The student must explain the importance of the proposed idea and identify the people or sectors that would benefit from it.
• Include data, illustrations or infographics for the proposed idea.
• Describe the potential impact if this invention were implemented.
• Submit the proposal as a presentation (not exceeding 5 minutes).
• Short-listed applicants will present their idea in person at the university.
• The application must include the participant’s name, school name, Emirate, personal phone number, and email address.

The deadline for entries is February 28, 2025, and results will be announced on March 28, 2025
