The American University in Dubai (AUD) launched the fourth edition of its Summer Camp, a dynamic program where academic discovery, creativity, and adventure come together. Designed for motivated students seeking more than a traditional summer program, the camp provides a unique opportunity to explore future-focused subjects, develop practical skills, and enjoy memorable experiences, all within a supportive university environment.
Running from July 5 to July 12, 2026, the program is open to students currently in Grades 10–11 (Years 11–12). Modules and accommodation take place on campus, complemented by organized off-campus excursions and activities across Dubai, giving students a balanced mix of academic exposure, personal growth, and university life experience.
Sara Sleem, Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions, said: “Building on the success of previous editions, the AUD Summer Camp continues to grow and evolve. This year, the program launches five interdisciplinary tracks designed to spark curiosity across a wide range of interests. Through hands-on projects, teamwork, and shared experiences that turn classmates into friends, students learn and grow in a safe, culturally diverse campus environment, gaining confidence and a meaningful taste of university life in a meaningful and memorable way.”
Participants choose one specialized track to explore their interests through practical, hands-on learning. Students in the Empowered Leadership track engage in interactive workshops and team-based challenges to build decision-making, communication, persuasion, and goal-setting skills. The Tech Pioneers track introduces emerging technologies including AI, robotics, game design, and virtual reality, allowing participants to develop their own tech-driven projects.
In the Master the Power of Media track, students go beyond social media basics to understand audience engagement, media psychology, and responsible content creation. The Life-Lab track offers hands-on experiences in biology and pre-med, including dissections, cell studies, and VR-assisted anatomy exploration, while the Creative Lab track focuses on design and branding using beginner-friendly AI tools, with students working in teams to create innovative, AI-enhanced outcomes.
Building on the success of previous editions, last year’s camp welcomed over 80 students from 22 countries, highlighting the growing interest in AUD’s immersive summer programs.
AUD Summer Camp brings together learning, exploration, and fun in one immersive week helping students discover new interests, build future-ready skills, and make the most of their summer.
