The American University in Dubai (AUD) and Chalhoub Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration between higher education and industry, creating new pathways for students to gain practical experience and develop career-ready skills in the luxury retail sector.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to preparing the next generation of professionals through experiential learning, industry engagement, and real-world exposure. Through a structured roadmap, AUD students will benefit from internships, apprenticeship opportunities, part-time employment, guest lectures, and direct engagement with industry leaders from Chalhoub Group.

The initiative will provide students across AUD’s Schools of Business Administration, Architecture, Art and Design, Communication and Information Studies, International Studies, and Engineering with opportunities to connect academic learning with professional practice while gaining valuable insights into one of the region’s most dynamic industries.

The first phase of the partnership will launch in September 2026 and will include internship placements, apprenticeship opportunities, part-time employment pathways, and guest lectures delivered by Chalhoub Group professionals. Future phases will explore additional initiatives designed to strengthen alignment between academic programs and evolving industry needs.
