Krish Banka, a finance student at the American University in Dubai (AUD), won the LSEG Workspace Portfolio Competition 2025, outcompeting participants from 52 leading universities across 16 countries in Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Mentored by Dr. Rima Assaf, Director of the Center for Executive Programs and Professional Services (CEPPS) and Assistant Professor of Finance, Krish showcased exceptional analytical rigor, discipline, and the ability to translate classroom learning into practical portfolio management using the LSEG Workspace platform. His achievement highlights the strength of experiential learning at AUD and the readiness of students to excel in global financial environments.

Speaking at the celebration, Dr. Assaf said:
