The American University in Dubai signed a memorandum of understanding and strategic cooperation with TRENDS Research and Advisory, a premier Emirati think tank and research institute with offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The MOU opens new possibilities for cooperation in research and academic pursuits between AUD and TRENDS, and it is designed to facilitate the exchange of expertise in areas of common interest, while developing a long-term partnership between the two parties to promote innovative solutions through joint publications.

The MOU was signed by Dr. David A. Schmidt, President of the American University in Dubai, and Fahad Al-Mahri, Head of the Dubai Office Sector at TRENDS Research and Advisory. The agreement sets the stage for organizing joint conferences, symposia, discussion panels, dialogue sessions, and specialized seminars.
