The American University in Dubai (AUD) and the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration in academic and professional development. The agreement focuses on opportunities that support student learning, practical experience, and professional engagement.

The partnership aligns with DMCC’s Tech Ecosystems, including the Gaming Centre, Crypto Centre, and AI Centre, and AUD’s commitment to providing industry-relevant education and experiential learning.

Signed by Dr. Assaad Farah, Interim Provost and Chief Academic Officer at AUD, and Feryal Ahmadi, Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer at DMCC, the MoU establishes a framework to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and professional expertise. It also outlines joint initiatives in areas such as research collaboration, curriculum development, student internships, and knowledge-sharing programs.

The agreement provides a structured foundation for ongoing collaboration between the university and DMCC, supporting practical learning opportunities and strengthening connections between academia and industry in Dubai.
