The American University in Dubai hosted 40 students from – Esade Business School - Spain, one of the world's most prestigious business schools, accompanied by administrative and teaching staff members.

Over the course of one week, AUD's School of Business professors lectured Esade's students on the governance of central banks, cryptocurrencies, and foreign exchange markets. AUD also organized company visits to reputable financial institutions and banks in the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), namely Julius Baer Bank and Franklin Templeton. Esade students, professors, and staff had the opportunity to meet with senior executives and explore the companies' operations in the United Arab Emirates and the GCC region.

Dr. Wissam El Khoury, Director of the Executive MBA Program and Chair of the Finance, Economics, and Accounting department at the School of Business, stated that this visit was the result of the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two academic institutions and that AUD will be receiving other delegations from Esade during the coming period.

The Spanish delegation commended the high academic standard of the educational programs at the American University in Dubai. The agenda was both enriching and enlightening, showcasing AUD's solid connections with the local market and enabling significant engagements with top executives from leading financial organizations.
