​AUD wins first place in the Global Financial Analysis Competition
SBA shines in the regional leg of the Financial Analysis Contest organized by the CFA institute.
The Business School students team at the American University in Dubai won the first place in the Financial Analysis Contest organized by the CFA Institute. The students included Reem Al-Ghalayini, Anna Chikanova, Andrew Girgis, Jihad Shawq and Nasele Orazaleva along with Dr. Angelo Corelli, Professor of Finance at the University.
The team has qualified to the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) finals in Dublin, Ireland, on April 4 and 5, and the winner teams will take part in the finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The competition was attended by 20 teams from ten universities, second place was the University of Sharjah team, and third place went to the American University of Sharjah team. The competition was held last Friday at the Rosenwood Hotel Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Mohammed Abu Ali, Dean of the School of Business Administration at the American University in Dubai, said that American CFA Institute, which is organizing the competition, is awards the highest specialized certificates in the field of financial analysis in the world. He stressed that this achievement is a great testimony of a result of the level of academic curricula excellence and effective interactive teaching methods at AUD.  Our business school focuses on intellectual and critical thinking skills and experiential learning that qualify our graduates for the best positions in the market.
