Apply to for the 2018 AUD-LSE Course Abroad in London.
AUD is pleased to announce the 2018 AUD-LSE Course Abroad in London.  This credited class is entitled "International Development Studies: The Impact of Imperialism & Decolonization on Developing Countries."  
The majority of the course will be taught in London where students will study at the prestigious London School of Economics.  At the end of the course, students will be able to analyze the impact of British imperialism and colonization as well as current economic and policy/management issues for developing nations that were once part of the British Empire.  The class will meet five times throughout Spring 2018 before departure for London on May 5, returning from London on May 12.  To be eligible, students must have completed either 45 credits with a 3.0 GPA or 60 credits with a 2.5 GPA, including ENGL 102, by the end of Fall 2017.  The course can be used to satisfy a General Elective or an Arts and Sciences Elective.
The overall cost for the course, including tuition, airfare, accommodation plus breakfast, all course-related visits in London, and travel insurance is approximately AED 25,000.
After completion, students will earn three credits from AUD and a certificate from LSE.
