The Eduniversal World Convention kicks off at AUD

The American University in Dubai kicked off the 10th Annual Eduniversal World Convention today, Thursday the 9th of November on 2017 on campus.
The event brought together over 190 professionals, decision-makers and leaders in higher education from across the globe to engage in dialogue on current topics in the sector including trends in higher education, quality improvement, recruitment and digitalization, and branding and alumni networking.
H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Mualla, Secretary General, Ministry of Education, delivered the keynote speech, stressing on the importance of enviroment in the creation and building of an internationally recognized educational system and sector. Additional renowned speakers/panelists participating in the event over the coming days include Mr. Roland Hancock, Education Director, PwC Middle East; Ms. Poonam Bhojani, CEO, Innoventures Education; Dr. Dima Jamali, Associate Dean - Research, American University of Beirut; Dr. Loick Roche, Dean and General Director, Grenoble Ecole de Management, France; Mr. Romain Payre, Head of Campus France in the United Arab Emirates - French Embassy, UAE; and Dr. Sanjay Sharma, Dean, University of Vermont School of Business Administration, USA. The convention will also include a gala dinner and awards ceremony, as well as excellent networking opportunities that further serve to advance the field of higher education worldwide.
