AUD at the UNESCO NGO FORUM Saud Arabia
Associate Professor Michael Rice from the Visual Communication Department, was recently invited to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to attend the countrie's first UNESCO NGO FORUM on “Youth and their Social Impact 2017”, organized in Partnership with MiSK Foundation on the 3rd and 4th of May 2017
Professor Rice attended in his capacity as the UAE UNESCO representative of the International Academy of Ceramics based in Geneva. 
Organized by UNESCO and the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee in partnership with the Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Foundation (MiSK), the UNESCO NGO Forum 2017 brought together renowned NGOs, youth representatives and inspiring experts, philanthropists and social innovators around the theme of “Youth and their Social Impact”.
The 2-day event was comprised of keynote conferences, panel discussions, breakout interactive sessions and cultural events.
