The American University in Dubai (AUD) students, faculty and administrative members enjoyed their desert safari trip that was organized recently by the Student Government Association (SGA). The University’s Annual Desert Safari has become a tradition since 1995, bringing various activities together combining fun, cultural and educational aspects.

AUD Student and SGA President Phil Apaza was happy to say: "The Desert Safari is an annual event which allows students to unwind and enjoy some time away from studies. This year students were able to enjoy a more traditional safari. This is one of the bigger events that the SGA organizes, but it's certainly one of the most fun. I look forward to it every year."

Located in "Al Hibab" desert, which falls alongside the way to Hatta, 45 km from Dubai, the AUD Desert Safari was held in one of the most equipped desert camps in the country, catered to by Alpha Tours.
