Personal Counselor

Resha Erheim joined AUD as a Personal Student Counselor in September 2015. Prior to this, for the past 4 years, she was a clinical counselor in a private rehabilitation institute in Kuwait.  She has multicultural experience in short and long-term counseling, crisis intervention, family and couple’s therapy using an eclectic therapeutic framework. 
Her areas of interests include relationship issues, identity issues, grief and trauma, intergenerational family conflict, depression, anxiety disorders and assertiveness training.  She also has experience in leading professional development and educational workshops. 
Counselor Erheim conducts her sessions in both English and Arabic. 
She has written several psycho-educational articles on a variety of topics for magazines and newspapers in Kuwait and partook in a recent research publication:

Erheim is a Canadian Certified Counselor and a member of the Canadian Counselor and Psychotherapy Association in Ontario, Canada. 
In her free time, she enjoys writing, reading, traveling and socializing with friends and family.
