Bushra has an M.A. in Education Administration with a concentration in International Education from George Washington University. Her career started at GW where she worked as Executive Assistant in the Department of Public Administration in the Graduate School of Business for 5 years.

Bushra then joined the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission in Washington DC as Outreach Coordinator, dealing with the Saudi scholarship students in the U.S, organizing and managing participation in cultural and educational conferences and events, and arranging all aspects of U.S. visits of foreign dignitaries with U.S. government and educational institutes.

She joined AUD in 2002 as Registrar then moved to the Student Services Department two years later where she developed the Student Support division.

Bushra is today the Assistant Dean of Student Services as well as the Student Support Manager.
