The mission and goals of the Student Government Association at The American University in Dubai have been established in the official Constitution and By-Laws. These regulations not only provide direction for the organization, but they establish the roles and responsibilities of each SGA member and the processes the SGA must follow when planning and executing certain events on campus. The Constitution also outlines the qualifications a student must possess in order to run for office, as well as the manner in which campaigning should be conducted. |

AUD considers its students to be an important part of its operations and values their opinions and suggestions related to the university. Students at AUD are involved and participate in institutional decision-making. Students voice concerns and criticisms of AUD at the Annual Student Forum which examines all aspects of the university. Additionally, students have the right to file written concerns/suggestions related to any aspect of the university’s operations. The AUD Student Forum is designed, executed, and managed by the AUD Student Government Association, under the guidance of the Student Activities Coordinator, and is typically held during the Spring semester. The Student Forum is a means by which the university collects student feedback about AUD issues, including general academic issues that are not specific to a certain department and general non-academic issues. The Student Government Association has now brought this forum online; write to sga@clubs.aud.edu with a question or concern. An SGA board member will reply within a week. Your feedback may also be brought up at the Annual SGA Forum. Make Your Voice Heard! |
