Will Arcilla possesses a BS in Secondary Education - Major in English from Ateneo de Naga University, a Jesuit university in the Philippines, and is hoping to complete the requirements for his Masters in English Language Teaching (MA Ed) from the same university. After graduation, he was accepted as College Instructor in Ateneo de Naga University and worked there for eight years before moving on to work in the public service sector as Executive Assistant for the Vice Governor of the province of Camarines Sur in 2002. Will moved to Dubai in 2005 and started his work in AUD as Library Assistant. In addition to his responsibilities at the Circulation Desk, Will is the Managing Editor of the library newsletter, The Learning Curve, and formats the library’s brochures.

As a small boy, Will’s favorite hangout was the town’s small library enjoying the adventures of the likes of the Swiss Family Robinson, Robinson Crusoe and the Hardy Boys. Will thinks that working in a library is similar to being a professional basketball or football player in the sense of being paid doing something that one loves.
