David was appointed Reference/Instruction Librarian of the American University in Dubai Library in June 2006. Before joining AUD, he worked as a Knowledge Executive for a major consulting firm in London. He also supplemented his time by writing food and entertainment reviews for various London-based publications.

David graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science. His research interests include web-based technologies, coordination of information, database design and digital libraries.
