The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Pioneers Program
 
Background and Objectives

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Pioneers Programme is part of the Knowledge and Education Pillar of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation. The Program aims to develop the knowledge capabilities of talented youth across the Arab World, by offering them scholarships to attend Master’s Degree programs, at leading universities in the Arab World.
 
Eligibility and Renewal
The program offers scholarships to qualified candidates who demonstrate leadership, but require financial support to pursue their Master's Degree. The scholarship covers tuition, fees and books, for the full duration of study.

Nationals of the 22 member countries of the League of Arab States are eligible to apply. These countries are: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros Islands, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, UAE and Yemen.

To be eligible for the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Pioneers Programme, candidates should:
  • Secure their own acceptance to one of the Foundation’s regional partner universities
  • Apply for the Pioneers scholarship through the financial aid office of the relevant partner university
  • Attach a certified copy of all undergraduate academic credentials to the application
  • Participate in an interview with the program advisory panel, if necessary
  • Submit proof of financial status (personal bank statement, family bank statement, employment salary certificate, personal credit card statement, bank liability letter, etc...)

Note

  • Applications are valid for approved degrees at partner universities/campuses only
  • The advisory panel for the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Pioneers Program will meet and evaluate applications on a quarterly basis
  • The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Pioneers Program is only available to students who have not yet begun their Master's Degree courses
  • The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Pioneers must be enrolled as full-time students, for the full duration of study
  • Potential candidates for the Mohammed bin Rashid Pioneers Program should refrain from sending a completed Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum application unless accompanied by an acceptance letter at one of the partner universities' programs. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in disregarding the candidate's application altogether

Once awarded a Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Pioneers scholarship, the candidate will sign a legally binding agreement with the Foundation, in which the candidate undertakes to remain and work in one of the 22 countries of the League of Arab States, for a minimum period of two years.
