Professor Curtis joined American University in Dubai in the Fall of 2007 as a full-time Assistant Professor of Visual Communications. Prior to arriving at AUD he taught graphic design, Web design, and art fundamentals at Eastern New Mexico University.

As well as teaching Kenneth remains active in the commercial Web design and information technology communities. His twenty years of technical expertise has aided him in creating a unique blend of computer generated art along with traditional media.

His work has been exhibited across the Southwest United States.
