The
School of Engineering prepares a culturally diverse student population
for successful professional careers in engineering at the regional
and global levels. The School’s educational experience provides
all students with the knowledge needed for technical excellence
in engineering, while emphasizing the role of general education,
ethical and social responsibility, and life-long learning in the
personal and professional growth of future engineers.

prepare our graduates for engineering practice, pursuit of advanced
degrees, and leadership roles within their professional communities
by providing them with a solid engineering education complemented
by a general education component
