In May 2007, Dr. Dwayne Banks, Dean of the School of Business Administration (SBA) approved the Proposed Plan for Establishing an MBA Club at AUD. Today, I am pleased to announce that MBA Club activities have officially begun, and we are welcoming new members.

The MBA Club provides an essential link between the School of Business Administration and the business community of Dubai and the region. This will be of great benefit for Club members and for the SBA, as it will enhance the prospect of mutual collaboration between the University and the business community. For instance, Club members may undertake assignments for local and regional companies, while they in turn may extend employment opportunities to MBA students and graduates.

I believe the MBA Club will have a profound effect on shaping the role of the SBA within the UAE business community. With minor efforts from each member, major results can be achieved. After all, this club is about putting our ideas in the right framework, in order to make a significant difference!
