Professor Mady is the Chair of the Department of Marketing and Marketing Communications. Prior to joining AUD, Professor Mady held academic appointments at Alexandria University , the Graduate School of Business of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, and Old Dominion University where he won a number of teaching awards. Dr. Mady has taught various courses including Strategic Marketing Management, Sales Management, An Overview of Integrated Marketing Communications, Services Marketing, International Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Management, and Marketing Research.
Professor Mady's research interests include international marketing strategy, emerging markets, and cross-cultural consumer behavior. His work has been published in several refereed conference proceedings and other publications. His professional services include acting as a reviewer for a number of leading academic conferences focusing on international marketing and marketing strategy. He has also been a reviewer for a special issue of International Marketing Review focusing on international marketing strategy. Dr. Mady's honors include consortium fellowship at both the 38th Annual AMA Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium (2003) and Society for Marketing Advances Doctoral Consortium (2002). He has also received the "Best Student Paper" Award in Marketing Strategy Track at the SMA Annual Conference (2002). He is an active member of the American Marketing Association, the Academy of Marketing Science , the Society for Marketing Advances, the Academy of International Business , the Society for Advancement of Management, and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
