One colleague (Digital Specialty) will hold the M.F.A. or Ph.D., have an interest in all forms of digital media and a demonstrable capability in hands-on television editing skills using the latest version of an editing software like Final Cut Pro 6.0. Media teaching experience at the university level, a love of teaching and production experience in television or cinema all are pluses.

Our second new colleague (Media Specialty) should also have a background as a media professional and hold a terminal degree, likely the Ph.D. This colleague will have a demonstrated capability as a dynamic teacher across an innovative curriculum that includes Mass Communication Introduction, Media Literacy, Aesthetics, and Media Effects. University teaching experience, a love of teaching and a personal media specialization all are pluses. A desire to engage in professional outreach activities is valued in both new colleagues.
