Adjunct Instructors - Arabic

The Liberal Arts Department at the American University in Dubai is currently accepting applications for adjunct [part-time] instructors, who are committed to excellence in teaching.

The area of specialization is:

Arabic Language :

Beginning (Arabic I)
Intermediate (Arabic II)
Advanced (Arabic III)

A Ph.D or M.A. or an equivalent degree in Arabic Language, Liberal Arts or Humanities from a western accredited institution of higher education is required. Solid teaching experience at the university level (preferably at a western university) and a record of professional achievement teaching Modern Arabic language is necessary.

Successful candidates will need to provide original transcripts.

Positions are available for the upcoming Fall 2008 semester. The University has flexible timings including morning, afternoon and evening classes.
